The Modern Craftsman is more than just a podcast for builders to tell relatable stories. It’s a community for industry professionals to learn, connect, and have honest conversations. The true product is perspective, education, and growth. It offers an experience that is somehow raw and refined at the same time.
The brand needed to reflect this. It had to be approachable and professional at the same time. It needed to be timeless and have broad appeal, yet still feel modern and attractive to the builder industry.
Brand:
We took a clean and straightforward approach to the primary marks, bringing in just enough character to reflect the subject matter, while still feeling professional. A bold but minimal color palette and typography system work together to create a modern, professional feel that speaks to clarity and craftsmanship, and allows the content to shine.
The “C Frame” element adds a subtle yet distinct structure that helps to create further brand recognition with a cohesive visual language, and anchors the brand to the idea of craft and distinction.
